We cordially invite you participate in an English-language lecture „Rated "X": Everything you can learn about sex offenders in an hour or two” presented by mgr Eliza Borecka from The Sterling Center for Counseling on May 14, 2019, at 8:00 am, room 215 Faculty of Law, University of Białystok.
The scope of the lecture includes:
- Review of adult typologies - motivation and operational styles
- Real life case illustrations
- Responses: Collaborative model of supervision (probation) and treatment of sex offenders in the community
- Conditions of Probation; Specialized treatment – historical overview,
- Use of polygraph in treatment;
- Support network – supervisory training for non- offending spouses, family and friends;
- Sex Offender Registry – what have we learned so far?
