On October 10, 2025, the Faculty of Law, University of Białystok hosted international guests participating in the 13th International PhD Students' Conference on Competition Law. Antitrust Institutional Design.
The conference was opened by the Vice-Dean of Didactics, Prof. Tomasz Dubowski, who welcomed those present, reminding that this was the thirteenth event in a series initiated in 2015. He noted that so far these conferences provide an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present their research results and exchange experience. He also emphasized the importance of international cooperation that occurs during such events.
The speakers included: Prof. Anna Gerbrandy (Utrecht University), Dr. Małgorzata Kozak (Utrecht University), Prof. Erzsébet Csatlós (University of Szeged), and Prof. Solomon Menabdishvili (Batumi State University), as well as doctoral students Yasmine Bouzoraa (University of Groningen), Piotr Oliński (University of Gdańsk), Carla Farinhas (Utrecht University), and Monika Woźniak-Cichuta (University of Warsaw).
The discussion during the conference was extremely inspiring and constituted an important element of the exchange of scientific ideas. The doctoral students received numerous valuable substantive comments that will undoubtedly enrich their research.
The conference was organized by Prof. Anna Piszcz, Dr. Paulina Korycińska-Rządca and Prof. Solomon Menabdishvili.
The event was co-financed by the Minister of Science under the "Regional Excellence Initiative" program.
