Aleksandra Stachelska, a research assistant at the International Center for Criminological Research and Expertise and a PhD student at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the Faculty of Law at the University of Bialystok, is one of the winners of the International Society of Criminology and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) a research paper competition for young criminologist, with the article The crime of identity theft as an aftermath of the development of modern technologies - legal and criminological aspects of the phenomenon in Poland.
Aleksandra Stachelska is the only Polish young criminologist and one of 10 people in the world who received this distinction. The prize is a presentation at the 19th World Congress of Criminology in Qatar (Doha) - travel and conference fees are covered, as well as the publication of the article in the International Annals of Criminology magazine published by Cambridge Press.
