The fifth International Conference "Language and Law - Traditions, Trends and Perspectives" was held at the Faculty of Law, University of Bialystok on 9-10 June 2021. The conference was organized by the Białystok Legal English Centre at the Faculty of Law, University of Bialystok. The main goal of the conference was to create an open forum for the exchange of theoretical and empirical aspects in the field of Legal English.
The conference was attended by representatives of academic institutions from 18 countries: Greece, Great Britain, Argentina, Georgia, Italy, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Austria, Croatia, and China.
The Language & Law Conference was the fifth edition of the event initiated and organised by the the Białystok Legal English Centre of the University of Białystok. The conference is cyclical, takes place every two years and enjoys particular interest among scholars from around the world. On behalf of the organizers, we invite you to the next, sixth edition of the conference, which will be held in 2023.
