Dr Danuta Narbut effectively integrates experience gained in local government administration with academic activity, creating a unique platform for the interaction between management practice and scholarly reflection. As Vice-Mayor of the Vilnius District Municipality, she implements solutions based on the results of scientific research and in-depth analyses of processes occurring in a dynamically changing society. At the same time, experiences and observations derived from local government practice enrich her academic work, enabling a more accurate understanding of the realities of contemporary social and institutional systems. The outcomes of this approach have a direct impact on the everyday lives of residents across different age groups, addressing key areas of public policy such as environmental protection, public transport, municipal services, and public safety.
